The terms that apply when you use our services or fill in a quote enquiry. They're written plainly, and we're always happy to talk through anything you're unsure about.

These terms apply to every job we carry out. By booking with us, you agree to them.
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to the supply of gardening, jet washing, garden clearance and landscaping services by JFL Gardens ("we", "our" or "us"). By requesting a quote, booking a visit or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and get in touch if you have any questions.
2. Quotes
Our quotes are free and come with no obligation. A written quote will set out the work to be carried out and the price. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. If the scope of work changes during the job, we will agree any price change with you before proceeding. Travel may be included within the quote where applicable.
3. Bookings and visits
When you accept a quote, we'll agree a visit date and time. We always aim to arrive when promised. If we're delayed, we'll keep you informed. Where you provide access instructions (such as a gate code), you're responsible for ensuring the information is correct and current.
4. Payment
Payment terms are agreed at the point of booking. Unless otherwise stated, payment is usually due on completion of the work, by the method agreed (such as bank transfer, cash or card where offered). Larger landscaping projects may require a deposit and staged payments, which we'll confirm in writing before work begins.
5. Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as you can. If we can't attend for reasons outside our control (such as extreme weather), we'll rearrange at the earliest convenient time. Pre-paid deposits for projects are refundable if the job is cancelled before work begins, less any costs already incurred.
6. Our workmanship
We take pride in completing every job to a high standard. If you're not completely happy with any aspect of our work, tell us within a reasonable time and we'll correct it without fuss. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Your responsibilities
Please make sure parking is available near the property, access to the garden is clear, and that any cables, sprinklers, or other obstacles are pointed out to us before work begins. For our safety, please also tell us about any underground utilities or hazardous materials on site.
8. Waste and debris
Where waste removal is agreed as part of the job, we'll remove it and dispose of it responsibly. Where not included, we'll leave cleared material neatly bagged for you to dispose of, unless we agree otherwise beforehand.
9. Liability
We carry public liability insurance. Our liability to you is limited to the value of the services provided, except where loss is caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be limited by law. We're not liable for loss arising from information you've provided being incorrect or incomplete.
10. Health and safety
We take health and safety seriously and comply with all relevant requirements. Our team is trained and equipped to carry out the work safely. Wherever possible, we keep children and pets away from the working area during a job.
11. Insolvency and unforeseen circumstances
If we're unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including severe weather, illness or equipment failure), we'll do everything reasonable to reschedule or find an alternative solution as soon as possible.

When you engage us, we handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, available on this site. See it for full details of how we collect, use and protect your data.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
